About Women, la instalación de Arte Postal sobre la Mujer presenta su colección completa por primera vez en Barcelona. Más de 2000 postales enviadas por más de 500 artistas y creativos de todo el mundo continúan su itinerancia para seguir generando puentes de comunicación y reflexión entre arte y sociedad.
Yo Mujer, Colectiva
Internacional de Arte Contemporáneo enmarcada dentro de la presentación de la
Instalación de Arte postal sobre la Mujer ABOUT WOMEN. La muestra busca
complementar el impacto visual femenino, así mismo, dar visibilidad a talentosos artistas, especialmente a los
vinculados a este proyecto colaborativo que ya ha viajado por varias ciudades
de España, Colombia y Holanda. Su objetivo principal es mostrar a la mujer de
hoy, como identidad, como sentir, como acontecimiento histórico, cultural y
biológico.
About Women, The international Mail Art Project presents its complete collection for
the first time in Barcelona. More than 2000 postcards sent by more than 500
artists and creatives from all over the world continue their itinerancy to
continue generating bridges of communication and reflection between art and
society.
As a parallel event, Yo Mujer, an international collective exhibition
will be presented to complement the feminine visual impact, as well as to give
visibility and diffusion to talented artists, especially those linked to this
collaborative project that has already traveled through several cities in
Spain, Colombia and Holland.

Tema y objetivo: Mostrar a la mujer de hoy, como identidad, como sentir, como acontecimiento
histórico, cultural y biológico. Retratos emocionales y/o cartográficos.
Quien puede
participar: Hombres
y mujeres creativos, sin importar su condición de género, edad, nacionalidad o
religión.

El Colectivo Femenino Virtual Proyecto Art-esencia es un proyecto artístico, social y reivindicativo establecido por la artista Katia Muñoz. Uno de sus principales objetivos es contribuir a la visibilidad de los Artistas, sobre todo mujeres creadoras, generar una red de información y promover la interacción entre Artistas sobre el tema de la Mujer.
El Proyecto Internacional de Arte Postal sobre la Mujer es un proyecto multidisciplinar que comienza con las convocatorias virtuales, invitando a los creativos, hombres y mujeres, a enviar sus postales intervenidas para ser parte de la instalación general que viaja por diferentes ciudades y ser expuestas en nuestras Galerías online.
Este proyecto surgió en el 2010, hasta la fecha se han realizado varias convocatorias con los títulos: "Mujeres: Secretos y Confidencias", "Cosas de Mujeres" y "Extrañas en el Paraíso", centrada esta última en la Mujer y la Migración.
Cosas de Mujeres, tercera convocatoria lanzada desde Colombia en Sudamérica, se expuso en el Museo de Arte de la Universidad del Magdalena, en la ciudad de Santa Marta, y en el Instituto Municipal de Cultura y Turismo de Bucaramanga-Santander. Strangers in Paradise, nuestra cuarta convocatoria, inicia su itinerancia en el Centro Cultural de Hispanohablantes de la ciudad de Ámsterdam, Holanda.
Hasta el momento se han recibido más de 1800 postales con la participación de casi 500 Artistas provenientes de todos los continentes. Una verdadera interacción entre Artistas, la instalación al completo es un muro femenino que nos cuenta, a ratos a gritos, a ratos murmurando, un compendio de sentidos y visiones del mundo femenino contemporáneo.
Hemos iniciado el año 2014 exhibiendo toda la coleccion completa en dos importantes museos de España, El Museo Arqueológico de Cacabelos (M.AR.CA) y el Museo Interactivo de Historia de Lugo (MIHL).
La publicación de nuestro Primer Catálogo y la Edición Limitada de tarjetas postales impresas es posible gracias a la colaboración de FotoBodega. Un esfuerzo que nos da la oportunidad de mostrar el talento de nuestros Artistas, además de lograr la auto-gestión del proyecto, la recaudación de fondos y continuar con la itinerancia internacional de la exposición de Arte Postal sobre la Mujer.

The Female Virtual Collective Art-essence Project is an artistic, social and protest project created by the ArtistKatia Muñoz. One of its main objectives is to contribute to the visibility of Artists, especially women creators, create a network of information and encourage interaction between Artists on the theme of Woman.
The International Mail Art Project about Women is a multidisciplinary project that begins with virtual calls, inviting creative men and women, to send their postcards tapped to be part of the overall installation that travels through different cities and being exposed in our on line galleries.
This project began in 2010, to date there have been several calls with the titles: "Women: Secrets and Confidences", "Women’s Issues" and "Strangers in Paradise", the latter is focused on Women and Migration.
The installation has been exhibited in numerous exhibitions in different cities from Spain, such as Barcelona, Madrid, Valdemoro, Castellón and Huesca in Arteria - International Contemporary Art Fair.
Women’s Issues, third call launched from Colombia in South America, was exhibited at the Art Museum of the University of the Magdalena, in the city of Santa Marta, and the Municipal Institute of Culture and Tourism of Bucaramanga-Santander.
Strangers in Paradise, our fourth call, began its tour at the Cultural Center of Spanish Speakers of the city of Amsterdam, Holland. We have started 2014 exhibiting all the complete collection in two important museums in Spain, The Archaeological Museum Cacabelos (M.AR.CA) and Interactive History Museum of Lugo (MIHL). The publication of our First Catalog and Limited Edition of printed postcards is possible thanks to the collaboration of FotoBodega. An effort that gives us the opportunity to showcase the talents of our Artists, besides achieve the self-management of the project, fundraising and continue the international roaming of the Mail Art exhibition about Women.
